If you have ever been sleepless in Kampala, you may remember Pompilla S. Agalo as “Pompi,” the voice of the popular late-night rock radio program, “Sleepless,” which she hosted years before and after graduating from Makarere University. She later pursued a Masters degree in Media Studies and Journalism. Her lively voice can be heard once more in this, her first published work. Pompi is lots of fun, a creative cook, and has a great interest in Acoli culture. While she calls Gulu, Uganda home, she lives in Kampala, where she teaches Information Technology at Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Secondary School.
